HISTORICAL
I have found myself curious about the local areas of North Mississippi; after a number of trips to local museums I ended up with alot of reference photos and not enough time to paint all that I want to. Water Valley was a main switching station of the Illinois Central Railroad into the early 1900's and exported a large crop of watermelons. Nearby Oxford, is the home of Ole Miss.
